Viewport AutoPause
An editor-only Unreal Engine 5.7+ plugin that automatically pauses viewport realtime rendering when the editor is idle or unfocused — cutting GPU power, electricity, fan noise, and heat. Resumes instantly on input or focus.
- Idle pause — viewports stop drawing after a configurable idle timeout (3s by default)
- Focus pause — viewports stop the instant another OS app takes focus, and resume the instant Unreal regains it
- Active framerate cap — optionally limit the editor's frame rate while you work; can only ever lower it, never raise it
